Free mental health support for citizens: how the Well-Being and Self-Knowledge Program works

INTMP's Well-Being and Self-Knowledge Program brings science-based mental health promotion to people across the city: residents, students, education and health professionals, individual micro-entrepreneurs and employees of micro and small businesses.

Six months, six discoveries

  • Month 1 · Strengths Map.
  • Month 2 · Time Tetrad.
  • Month 3 · Language of Appreciation.
  • Month 4 · Positivity and Well-Being.
  • Month 5 · Family: Appreciation for Children.
  • Month 6 · Life and Career Vision.

People take part on their mobile phone by scanning a QR code, with no app and no password. At the end of each module, participants receive their individual report on WhatsApp, and only they can access it.

Free by principle

INTMP's Bylaws prohibit any charge to the end participant (art. 2, sole paragraph). The program is funded by parliamentary budget amendments, partnership agreements with public bodies and corporate donations. It is not a clinical service and always refers people to the health network when needed: in Brazil, the CVV helpline (188), emergency services (SAMU, 192) and Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS).
